TheOrder of Journalists(ODG) has recently released a document on the condition of those who practice journalism as freelancersvytorin dosage. Specifically, during the sessions of the National Council at the end of March, a document on freelance journalists was presented, prepared by the CNOG working group tasked with providing an overview of the freelance journalism profession.
The document examines the “Code of Duties” and its application, certain points of the law governing the profession of journalism, the relationship between freelance journalists and publishers, the need for a unified fee schedule, professional ethics, antitrust issues, and the request for the establishment of a freelance list.
But who is a freelance journalist?
The document states the following verbatim:
A freelance is defined as a professional journalist who practices the profession exclusively and independently, without any employment relationship. A freelance journalist is also defined as a “publicist journalist” who practices the profession predominantly (meaning more than half of their income comes from this work) without having any kind of subordinate journalistic employment. The freelance journalist is registered with INPGI’s Separate Management and operates in compliance with the constitutional principles of freedom of expression, pluralism, and the legal and deontological rules provided for the journalism profession.
