Freelance journalists: the document drafted by the National Council of Journalists' working group is forthcoming.

THE'Order of Journalists (ODG) has recently released a document on the situation of those who practice journalism independently. vytorin dosageIn particular, at the National Council meetings at the end of March, a document on freelance journalists was presented, drafted by the CNOG working group tasked with providing an overview of the situation of the independent journalism profession.

The document examines the "Charter of Duties" and its application, some points of the law regulating the journalism profession, the relationship between freelance journalists and publishers, the need for a single fee schedule, professional ethics, antitrust, and the request to establish a freelance directory.

But who is the freelance journalist?

The document reads verbatim:

A freelance journalist is defined as a professional journalist who practices the profession exclusively, autonomously, independently, and without any employment relationship. A freelance journalist is also defined as a publicist who practices the profession predominantly (i.e., accounting for more than half of their income from work) without any type of employment relationship. Freelance journalists are registered with the Separate Management of the INPGI (National Institute for Journalism and Social Security) and operate in compliance with the constitutional principles of freedom of expression, pluralism, and the legal and ethical standards established for the journalism profession.
